Notice Is Hereby Given that the Taos County Planning Commission, pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Section 10-15-1 (8), NMSA 1978 and Article 7 of Taos County Ordinance 2015-2 will hold a public meeting on Wednesday March 14th, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the County Commission Chambers located at the Taos County Complex, Administration Office Building, 105 Albright Street, Room 106 Taos, New Mexico, for the purpose of discussing the items set forth hereunder:

.A. Thomas Waniewski Capital Telecom Holdings, LLC “Agent/Applicant” is requesting aSpecial Use Permit – Commercial Use (SUP-01-2018) to erect a one hundred ninety-five foot (195’) tall self-supporting cell tower, outdoor cabinets with battery back-up,and other telecommunication equipment within a 60’ x 60’ leased area on propertylocated at #50 Jarosa Road in Costilla, Taos County, New Mexico in order to providecellular phone coverage to this village and the surrounding area. As part of thespecial use permit request the Agent/Applicant is also proposing to construct aroadway within the interior of the subject property for access to the proposed celltower. The subject property is owned by Marvin Roybal and is further described aslying within projected Section 27, Township 32N and Range 13E, New Mexico PrimeMeridian, also describes as part of Tract 94, Map 6, Survey 9 of the 1941 Taos CountyReassessment Survey.
B. Alex R. Abeyta, Abeyta Engineering Inc. “Agent” representing Chapman Grubb “Applicant” is requesting a Special Use Permit-Commercial Use (SUP-02-2018) to construct and operate a primitive campground that does not provide facilities for recreational vehicles (RVs) which will be located on a 4.985+- acre portion of a 6.75+- acre tract of property. In addition, as part of the requested special use permit, a twelve foot (12’) wide interior roadway and three (3) parking lots will be developed on the subject property. The property which is the subject of the requested special use permit is located at 14 South Carson Road in Carson, Taos County, New Mexico. The subject property is further described as lying within the south 1/3 of the north ½ of the northwest ¼ of the northeast ¼ of Section 31, Township 25 North, Range 11 East of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, in the vicinity of Carson, Taos County, New Mexico.
