Both applicants must be present and be at least 18 years of age.
All individuals must provide a valid government-issued form of identification with photo, name and date of birth
Social Security Card or Number is required, If you are not a US Citizen two valid forms of identification are required
If under 18 years of age, a parental consent (mother and father providing photo ID) is required. If under 15 years of age, a court order (documentation by the courts is required)
The Clerk's Office does not have an on-site officiant you must contact an officiant to perform your ceremony

Marriage Licenses are issued Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A marriage license must be obtained BEFORE the ceremony takes place.
* Marriage Licenses issued by this office do not expire

After filing the license will be returned to you. Certified copies of the marriage license can be provided for legal purposes.
Certified Copies of a Marriage License are $2.00 each and can be obtained after the license has been filed. Call us to order or request more information (575)737-6380.
